Temptation

February 13th prompt is Temptation

My Grandfather played the trumpet since he was in high school, or maybe even earlier. I always loved to listen to him play Jazz or big band music, tell stories about his time in marching band, or have him teach me how to play. He's the reason I joined band (trumpet and then baritone) and played from 5th grade till my high school graduation. I hadn't played in years but seeing all his trumpets tempted me to play again, and I did. I played Taps at his funeral on the silver trumpet shown standing up above.
