From Where I Stand

The prompt for February 16th was From Where I Stand

On Monday the 16th, we buried my grandfather. From where I stood after the service, this is what I saw. My cousins and I (his 5 granddaughters) placed roses on the coffin, took a few photos as people gave their condolences to my grandmother and then we went back to the car. The entire time, it was snowing. The snowflakes were perfectly shaped and it made the cold worth it. When we planned the funeral it snowed and when we buried him it did too. It was beautiful.
