Considering it's summer, and my paycheck just came in, I decided to splurge a lit bit and get myself a subscription box. The box I chose was the Julep Maven box. My sister has gotten it in the past and loved it, plus you get to take a quiz and/or select your style profile, so you'll get items that you'll not only like, but actually wear too. The Julep box has beauty products (lotion, eyeshadow, etc), nail polish, or both. This, in my opinion, makes it much for useful...and a better value! Now, not only did I make use of the free first box via Julep, I also used Swagbucks.com. Swagbucks has a lot of promotions, offers and a daily poll you can answer for points. By doing so, I can redeem points for gift cards. By using their code for Julep, I received 800 points. To put a frame of reference, its 450 for a $5 gift card. Using wonderful codes, I actually MADE money off this offer, and you can too! I'll keep you posted on what my first box is, including the mystery polish I choose...
